Journey to a Better Life
From a Women's Shelter to
The Million Dollar Club
I believe that nothing you've lived through was wasted.
Not the chapters that made you proud. Not the chapters you wish
had never happened. Not the dreams that fell apart. Not the mistakes.
Not the heartbreak. Not even the moments when you questioned
your own worth. I believe every one of those moments was preparing
you for the woman you're becoming.
The Origin Story
Hi, I'm Silvia and the honest version of my story starts in a women’s shelter.
Long before I ever stood on stage in front of thousands of people or built businesses that generated hundreds of millions in sales, I was just a woman trying to survive.
And honestly, if you had met me back then, you’d probably never guess we’d be having this conversation right now.
For years, I thought success was meant for other people. People who went to university, spoke perfect English, or had doors opened for them.
I was just an Italian woman who had come to Canada with a whole lot of hope and absolutely no guarantees.

The Night Everything Changed
By 1990, my life looked nothing like I had imagined it would. I had just left an abusive marriage with two small children, five dollars in my pocket, no family nearby, and almost no English. Honestly, I had no idea what I was going to do. I was far from Italy, where I was born and raised, and far from
everything I had ever known.
I was scared. My children were depending on me, and I had a God I wasn’t sure was listening, but I talked to Him anyway.
I wasn’t asking for a miracle. I was just praying for a job so I could put food on the table and find a safe place for my children and me to live.
Remember the night we left for the women’s shelter. A priest drove us. He told me to take only the essentials.I didn't have much, so that part was easy. What I didn’t have was a plan.
I had no university degree, no connections, and honestly, no idea where to begin.
At that time,I still believed that great things happened to other people, never to me.
So I started where many women start: cleaning houses, serving tables, taking
every shift and whatever work came
my way. Then something shifted.
The Turning Point
I was at an event, watching people walk up on stage and get recognized for their success. At first, they looked like they lived in a completely different world. But as I listened to their stories,
I realized they weren't born knowing how to do this either.
And I started thinking: if they figured it out, maybe I could learn from them too.
My mindset completely flipped, and one question kept ringing in my head:
Why not me ?
That single question changed the direction of my life. It made me curious instead of discouraged and pushed me to start learning instead of complaining. I began to believe that if one ordinary person could create an extraordinary life, maybe another ordinary person could too.
It reminded me that with God all things are possible.

The Build Phase

Faith in the Journey
" In all things God works for the good of those
who love him. "

The Greatest Lesson

I'm deeply grateful for everything success gave me and for all the opportunities that came with it. But when I look back today,
I realize something I probably couldn't have understood back then.
It wasn't success that taught me the most valuable lessons. Loss did.
Cancer taught me that tomorrow is never guaranteed. Then came the pandemic, dismantling an entire chapter of my business and forcing me to rethink what I had spent years building. It made me realize that building someone else's business is very different from building your own legacy.
After going through all of that, I reached a point where I was just so tired of building, rebuilding, and starting all over again. I finally sat down and asked myself, “There must be a better way.
A Better Way

You Don't Start From Zero
And through all of this, I realized something just as important: I had never really start from zero.
And the same is true for you. Whatever chapter you're in right now, your skills, your experience, and everything you've learned along the way are still yours. No one can take that away from you. You may have to start something new, but you're not starting from zero.
Some of the chapters that felt like endings were actually preparing me for what came next. I couldn't see it then, but I can now, and I wouldn't erase them, because without them, I wouldn't be who I am today.
People often ask me what I consider my greatest achievement, and I think they expect me to talk about the businesses I built, the awards, or the stages I've spoken on.
But when I look back, what makes me most proud are the lives I've touched along the way. The people I've helped believe in themselves again, make a change, and create possibilities they couldn't see before.
That has always meant more to me than any title or recognition ever could. And today,
it has become my mission.
